It’s spring, and mirages have been reported along the coast of Spain. A young French woman travels to San Sebastián to witness these visual aberrations. There she meets a mysterious older Portuguese who tells her a story from her youth – of her sister’s obsession with a young man glimpsed from afar, and a gaze that can turn the world inside out.
