It is with deep sorrow and sadness that we mark the passing of Gita Cerveira, a colleague with whom we were working on the film Aleluia, and who had previously collaborated with us on other films.
We are deeply grateful for all the moments we shared together, and we extend our heartfelt condolences to Gita Cerveira’s family, friends, and colleagues.

We are very happy to announce that the documentary 𝗕𝗨𝗟𝗔𝗞𝗡𝗔, by Leonor Noivo, received the Renaud Victor Prize yesterday at FIDMarseille.
About the Renaud Victor Prize:
“With the agreement and support of the Interregional Directorate of Prison Services PACA–Corsica, the Marseille Prison Center, and the CNC, the association Lieux Fictifs and FIDMarseille carry out a joint initiative that brings the festival event to the Les Baumettes prison facility in Marseille, in real time with the rest of the festival.
A selection of around ten films from the competition is shown to an audience made up of incarcerated participants and volunteers. Those who follow the entire program may, if they wish, become jury members and take part in selecting the winning film. Each film is presented and discussed with the support of FID staff and, whenever possible, in the presence of the filmmakers themselves.”
