LOBO E CÃO: 𝟴th December in nacional theaters!

DRY GROUND BURNING, by Adirley Queirós and Joana Pimenta, took the Cidade de Coimbra Grand Prize and Best Photography Award for Joana Pimenta. 🔥

Meanwhile, WILL-O’-THE-WISP, by João Pedro Rodrigues was awarded with Best Fiction Film, Best Art Direction for João Rui Guerra da Mata and best Costume Design for Patrícia Dória. 🚒

Last but not least, IMMATERIAL GIRL, by André Godinho, received the Award for Best Make-Up for Sofia Frazão 🧚‍♀️

Congratulations to the teams and thank you to the jury for recognising their work! ❤️

We traveled to Mar del Plata Film Festival for the screening of three recent works:
🌿 MATO SECO EM CHAMAS, by Adirley Queirós and Joana Pimenta, will be presented at the Latin American Competition, while 🌊 LOBO E CÃO, by Cláudia Varejão, will be in the International Competition.
🔥 Also, FOGO-FÁTUO by João Pedro Rodrigues, is part of the Alternate States Competition.

Mato Seco em Chamas, by Adirley Queirós and Joana Pimenta, premieres in national theaters in 27th October.

Three Greek Premieres at Thessaloniki International Film Festival:

🔥 The films NAÇÃO VALENTE, bby Carlos Conceição, is part of the New Directors Competition, while LOBO E CÃO, by Cláudia Varejão, is in the International Competition.

🚒 FOGO-FÁTUO, by João Pedro Rodrigues, will be shown in the program of special sessions.

The 62nd edition will take place from the 4th to the 14th of November.

RATICIDA, by João Niza Ribeiro, will have its international premiere at the International Short Film Competition of the Cork Film Festival 🐀

Also, the films NAÇÃO VALENTE, by Carlos Conceição, and ONDE FICA ESTA RUA? OU SEM ANTES NEM DEPOIS, by João Pedro Rodrigues and João Rui Guerra da Mata will be showed.

The film NAÇÃO VALENTE, by Carlos Conceição, will have its national premiere at the Official Competition of Leffest – Lisbon & Sintra Film Festival.

The festival, between Lisbon and Sintra, will take place from the 10th to the 20th of November.

Fogo-Fátuo, the new film by João Pedro Rodrigues premieres in national theaters in 29th September.

WILL-O’-THE-WISP by João Pedro Rodrigues and DRY GROUND BURNING by Joana Pimenta and Adirley Queirós will be part of New York Film Festival’s Official Selection! 🔥

Both films are part of the Currents Section, whose focus lies on contemporary cinema, highlighting new shapes and innovative voices. ✨
